The Helen Jodice Liver-Directed Therapies Program
have access to the following information services:
The Helen Jodice Liver-Directed Therapies Program will emphasize interventional radiology procedures for breast cancer patients with metastases to the liver. The Program will be a clearinghouse and will educate patients/families/caregivers as to liver-directed therapies which should be discussed with the oncology team:
- Radioembolization using Yttrium-90 microsphere brachytherapy
- Selective Internal Radiation Therapy (SIRT)
- Chemoembolization
- Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Cryoablation
- Laser Therapy
- Magnetic Chemotherapy
