ICAN deals with Stage IV cancer patients. Because of the CURE magazine profile of ICAN and other publicity about our Patient Services, ICAN is currently on Wait List status for many of the cancers we handle. Before you transfer/mail us your medical record or before you fax your records or email us the status of your case, please call ICAN at 602-618-0183 to verify if we are still on Wait List.
The patient must call ICAN directly. You can understand that it's very common at ICAN for a patient's family, friends, and/or colleagues to reach out to ICAN about a particular patient without fully understanding the patient's case (or without the patient's buy-in that he or she even wants or needs patient advocacy services). We observe HIPAA to the nth degree, and we do not discuss the patient's case with third parties without express permission.
While ICAN Patient Services are free of charge, we kindly request that patients, their families, and their circles of friends support our unique charitable organization as generously as possible. No gift is too small. We gratefully accept all checks, online credit card donations, and in-kind contributions of goods and services.
