There are hundreds of different cancers and cancer subtypes, each of which poses unique challenges to treatment. That is why ICAN’s Cancer Patient Advocacy Programs, Clinical Trials Advocacy Programs, Tumor Information Services, and Anticancer Drug Information Services are specifically tailored to each individual patient and are based on the information that the patient’s medical team has documented.
ICAN observes the strictest privacy guidelines so that patients, advocates, researchers and physicians can use the ICAN-Search™ website or contact ICAN with complete confidence.
Despite the fact that ICAN does not dispense medical advice, we do provide patient advocacy and empowerment in the form of creative, detailed information as well as treatment options which patients subsequently share with their medical teams in order to make crucial decisions - at key turning points - in their battles for life.
